A recent addition to the GMM product range, Marquee Tents or Clearspan Structures consists of a high grade Structural Aluminium Portal Frame, which is covered with a U.V. stabilised, fire retardant PVC membrane to ensure a fully waterproof, free – standing structure.
- The sidewalls of these Clearspan Structures consist of either clear see-through or plain PVC fabric, in accordance with the intended end use.
- The standard GMM Clearspan Marquee portal bay sizes are 9 x 3 m and 20 x 5 m. The structures being modular means that a number of portal bays can be joined together so a larger structure results. For Example; joining 5 ( 9 x 3 m ) portal bays will result in a Clearspan Marquee Structure of 9 x 15 m. Likewise, joining 10 ( 20 x 5 m ) portal bays will result in a Clearspan Marquee Structure of 50 x 20 m.
- GMM Clearspan Marquee Structures are suitable for installation over slightly uneven surface areas as the upright posts are extendable & can thus be adjusted to follow the actual surface contour. On grass or similar surfaces the structure is secured by means of steel anchor pegs.
- GMM Clearspan Marquee Structures are also ideally suited for temporary installation on surfaces that should not be damaged, such as Tennis Courts, paved surfaces, etc. In applications like these, the structures are anchored by means of concrete blocks or water barrels.
- GMM Clearspan Marquee Structures are easy to transport and install and no special tools or equipment is required. Installation, care & maintenance training is provided to all new customers.
